About us
Founded in 2015, Ohr Temimim Lubavitch has become a cornerstone of care, learning, and connection in the Thornhill-Vaughan community. Our organization serves both seniors and youth through a variety of programs that uplift and inspire. Hundreds of seniors have benefited from our outreach initiatives, receiving support, companionship, and meaningful engagement. For the youth, Ohr Temimim has become a true home away from home — a place where they come together for mentorship, social activities, and valuable life skills education such as financial literacy and budgeting. We also ensure that those in need are cared for by providing warm winter clothing and nutritious hot meals during gatherings, creating an environment of both physical and emotional warmth.
At the heart of our mission is the Chabad-Lubavitch philosophy — to bring light, kindness, and spiritual growth to every member of the community. Our activities include Torah learning, community service, visiting the sick and elderly, and supporting other charitable initiatives that reflect our values of compassion and unity. Through these efforts, we continue to strengthen our community youth, and ensure that every individual feels valued and supported — both spiritually and practically.
